Pleasure/ Show Harnesses and Conversion Kits

We are please to announce that we have retained our expert harness maker from a well known Pennsylvania establishment to make all of our leather/betathane and biothane harnesses! He has many years experience. We are able to offer a high quality product at a very reasonable price. Take a look at the pictures below!

Harnesses are CUSTOM FIT to your miniature horse, pony, horse or donkey. Additional parts can easily be ordered to adapt to multiple close-sized animals. Our standard harness can be used from training to pleasure driving and right into the show ring. We offer a high grade leather, betathane or biothane material. Our leather harnesses are made with American leather and are all handstitched. The saddles (back pads) are soft and well padded. They are all brass or stainless fittings. Pair Harness is available as well as a “Conversion Kit” to convert two single harnesses to a pair harness. Pads are recommended under the saddle and breastplate for comfort.

LEATHER SINGLE HARNESS in brass or stainless.

DELUXE HARNESS: Saddle has patent top with curved skirts. Curved breast collar with buckle in traces. Double buckle padded nose and caveson strap. Bridle has round blinds and teardrop. Brow band has hexagon spots standard. Double neck strap with rings. Reins: all brown, half brown/black or all black. Padded girth. No sidecheck. Includes regular snaffle bit (3.5″ mini, 4″ small pony, 5” horse, 5.5” large horse) and gullet strap. See pictures below:

BETATHANE OR BIOTHANE HARNESS

PLEASURE BETATHANE (dull finish) or BIOTHANE (shiny) Single Harness in stainless. Includes a padded saddle, sewn on/continuous traces (no buckle in breast collar), teardrop (flat) bridle, straight noseband, solid tree and rolled edges on breast collar, breeching, girth, hip strap and neck strap.. Blinds are a deep cup shape (slight cup shape for mini size) with patent or regular leather. Browband is plain, but diamond or chainlink accents on browband are an option. No sidecheck or bit. Black or medium brown reins in betathane or biothane (no leather available). For Betathane or Biothane, the BRASS option is 15% more.

CONVERSION KIT: Our betathane or biothane conversion kit is comprised of 2 yoke straps and double reins to turn YOUR two single harnesses into a pairs harness. Shipping is based on your location. All black reins come standard. All brown reins are available but no 1/2 brown/black. The height is at the withers, not the base of the mane. Specify brass or stainless accents. BRASS IS AN ADDITIONAL 15% OF THE PRICE BELOW.

A & B (A fits 28″ to 33.5″ and B fits >33.5 to 38″) – $295 (Biothane or Betathane-stainless is standard. BRASS option is 15% more).

Small Pony (greater than 38” to 44″) – $295.

SOFT COLLARS (Leather) Set (2) as an add-on to the CONVERSION KIT – $155 (for 2 <38″ horse) or $175 (for 2 38″ to 42″). If you have a breastplate harness and would like extra support, this might be an option to consider. The top of this soft collar attaches to the rein hook on the saddle and wraps around your minis neck. The bottom ring connects to the choke strap in the conversion kit. (So, therefore, the choke strap on the conversion kit attaches to the soft conversion collar ring instead of the breastcollar.) Specify brass or chrome accents.
