Mini Through Pony Easy Entry Carts (Up to 13H)

These are samples of our Easy Entry-style carts, custom made by Amish artisans. All are lightweight and well-balanced, with full-scale carriage springs for a smooth ride. You can design your own cart using the many available options. Wheels can be easily swapped between wire and wooden styles, and the shafts are removable. A metal team pole can be purchased for driving pairs, which is also easily interchangeable with the shafts.

The standard wheelbase for mini carts is 45″, but we can modify this to suit your needs. Mini and small pony carts (under 11 hands) ship via UPS or FedEx Ground. Pony carts ship by freight—please call or email for a reasonable quote. Wooden wheels have approximately 2″ hubs, midway between flush and standard. The color shown is Minwax Golden Oak.

Mini Through Small Pony Size Wooden Carriages (30″ to 43″ (up to 10.3H))

A stationary seatback is standard on all wooden models. Seat and basket width: 30″. Leaf springs provide suspension.

Shipping within the U.S. is ground for carts fitting horses up to ~38″. Larger sizes ship by freight—call for a quote.

Team Pole

We offer a telescoping (adjustable) team pole.

Please provide the following measurements when ordering a team pole:

1. Height of horse at the withers (not the first few hairs of the mane).

2. Length of horse (imagine a board in front of chest and behind the rump, then that distance between the “boards”- not as if you were going around corners for a blanket).

3. Shaft width (diameter) where it attaches to the cart.

4. Measurement between the center of bolts where shafts attach.

5. Width of the basket

6.  Width of the seat.
